The Message "You are not eligible to Monetize" Really Annoys the User
What is Instagram Monetization?
Instagram monetization is a way to make money with your Instagram account. This may be due to the presence of a large number of subscribers, which allows you to promote goods and services for money.
You can also sell your own products on Instagram or add affiliate links from other brands and companies.
It may appear simple: Create an Instagram account and begin monetizing it, but there are several steps you must take before you can begin making money on Instagram.
Creators can make more money on the platform by making sure they follow all the rules. But in 2022, people are having trouble with it.
What Formats and Actions are Prohibited on Instagram?
Instagram has put together a list of formats and activities that are not allowed to make sure the platform is safe for everyone and makes it easy to use.
Brand Safety and Monetization Acceptability Standards
When you monetize Facebook through features such as in-stream ads or Instant blogs, you can earn ad revenue from ads that appear on your content. Through our Community Standards, Monetization Acceptance Standards, and other relevant policies, we ensure that Facebook encourages self-expression and creates a safe environment for everyone, including content creators and advertisers.
It's important for Facebook to be a place where people feel able to communicate. Our Community Standards apply globally to all types of content and explain what is allowed and what is not allowed on Facebook. These standards serve as guidelines for communication and include (but are not limited to) intellectual property, user identity, and security.
Why was My Monetization Denied?
If your application was rejected, it means that our reviewers believe that a significant portion of your channel does not comply with our rules and guidelines. See the other questions in this article for the next steps.
Can I Apply Again?
Yes. You can apply 30 days after receiving the rejection email. You should fix your channel before applying again.
What can I do to Strengthen my Application?
We cannot promise that you will be able to monetize your channel after the fix. But we have some general guidelines to help you get your channel to the point where it's eligible for the program.
Read the rejection letter. It will tell you about the specific rules that your channel has violated.
Then review your content (videos, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and tags) against our YouTube monetization and community guidelines.
The following step will be to edit or delete any videos that violate our policies.
If you reapply, our review team will review your content again. We will notify you via email when the process is complete (this will take about a month). You can also check the status of your application on the monetization page.
Studying The Instagram Message "You Are Not Suitable For Monetization"
Several people took to Twitter to indicate that they had received a message saying they were no longer eligible for monetization. This came as a shock to many as they regularly used Instagram for business.
What further upset users was that the message noted that "the status cannot be appealed." As to the reason for this sudden change, the notice states that the content did not comply with the community guidelines set out by the platform.
As of now, Instagram has not commented on this in any way. However, considering that several people have experienced this problem, it can be said that it could be a glitch.
Instagram Monetization Prerequisites
This will never be an easy task. It takes more than just a catchy Instagram name, a fancy description, and posting photos to make money on Instagram.
It may work well to impress your personal circle, but monetizing your Instagram account requires a lot of hard work and patience.
